Hello and welcome once again to OregonBeers.com! Since we launched this site more than three years ago, we've brought you the latest news on the best happenings in Oregon's beer scene.
To improve our service even more, we'd like to let you know what's on tap for 2006.
We've featured several select writers, including humorous Tonie Nichols (who also writes for our sister site, OregonWines.com). To help supplement some of our writers' very busy schedules, we are planning to launch a pilot program for beer bloggers! Through partnership with www.NWBlog.com, OregonBeers.com readers can start their own blogs about beer (brewing, beer tasting, brewery culture, beer events, beer news, brewing systems, etc) -- and we'll begin featuring those blogs throughout this web site.
If you are interested in participating, just log on to www.NWBlog.com, sign up for an account, and start your own blog about beers. Then let us know what you're blogging about. We'll review your blog and, if we select you, your blog will appear on OregonBeers.com! We will launch this system in early 2006, so stay tuned.
Other news includes a brewing recipe and tasting system. This is essentially an online collaborative recipe service that lets you and other homebrewers contribute and share your favorite homebrew recipes! We're still working out the kinks, but it's showing a lot of promise, and we'll let you know how things progress.
