3. Advertisements
The forums are to remain free of advertisements of any kind. This includes commercial commentary, contact details, and email addresses or Web links deemed to advertise products or services. Messages containing advertisements will be edited or deleted without prior notice.
4. Linking to Web Sites
When posting to the forums, providing links to Web sites that support your comments or that may help other forum readers is permitted. However, we do not allow posting to your own private or commercial Web site, as that is considered an advertisement. If you want to advertise on OregonBeers.com, please contact us to inquire about rates. Messages that contain links to your own Web site will be edited or removed without prior notice.
5. Flaming and Trolling
On active forums, exchanges may frequently heat up between readers who share very different viewpoints. Such exchanges are allowed. However, the forums are to remain free of flamers (people who only post inflammatory comments and want to pick fights more than participate in a forum) and trolls (people who post off-topic messages just to try and get a response out of readers). Forum members who flame and troll are subject to having their messages deleted and their posting privileges revoked.
